DEMOLITION NOTES
1.
CONTRACTOR TO COORDINATE WITH OWNER REGARDING ANY SALVAGEABLE ITEMS
REMOVED
PRIOR TO DEMOLITION. ANY ITEMS INDICATED THAT ARE OF SALVAGEABLE
BE REMOVED
CONDITION ARE TO BE BROUGHT TO THE OWNERS ATTENTION SO THAT THEY MAY
BE RELOCATED PER THEIR DIRECTION.
2.
ALL EXISTING EQUIPMENT AFFECTED BY NEW CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE REMOVED/
RELOCATED. VERIFY LOCATION WITH OWNER.
3.
CONTRACTOR SHALL FILL, PLUG, AND REMOVE ALL EXISTING PLUMBING PIPE
LOCATIONS AND ANY OTHER MECHANICAL ITEMS SO AS TO PREPARE AREA FOR
NEW CONSTRUCTION.
4.
CONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH ALL LABOR, MATERIALS, AND EQUIPMENT TO

DISCONNECT, DISMANTLE, REMOVE, AND SALVAGE IN THE DISPOSITION OF

DEMOLITION INDICATED IN THIS PLAN.
5.
CONTRACTOR SHALL TAKE ALL NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO

EXISTING STRUCTURE OR EQUIPMENT CAUSED BY THIS OPERATION AND SHALL NOT
INTERFERE WITH EXISTING STRUCTURAL SYSTEM.
6.
HOLES OR OTHER DAMAGE LEFT BY CONTRACTOR SHALL BE REPAIRED BY
CONTRACTOR AT HIS OWN EXPENSE.
7.
UPON COMPLETION OF DEMOLITION THE ENTIRE AREA SHALL BE CLEANED OF ALL
DEBRIS AND PREPARED FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION.
8.
EXISTING CONDITIONS NOT SHOWN ON THIS PLAN SHALL BE REVIEWED WITH THE
ARCHITECT PRIOR TO REMOVAL AND /OR REWORKING TO CONFORM TO NEW PLAN AS
REQUIRED.
9.
THE GENERAL SHALL PROVIDE ALL NECESSARY BARRICADES AND SAFETY
BARRIERS AS REQUIRED BY WORK INCLUDING DUST CONTROL MEASURES.
10.
THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PREPARE ALL EXISTING SURFACES AND CONDITIONS
AS NECESSARY TO RECEIVE ALL NEW WORK.
11.
THE CONTRACTOR SHALL EXAMINE ALL CONDITIONS AND VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS BASED
ON EXISTING CONDITIONS AND SHALL CONTACT ARCHITECT FOR CLARIFICATIONS OR
INTERPRETATIONS AS NECESSARY FOR A COMPLETE JOB.
12.
THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE EXISTING ROOF SYSTEM AND STRUCTURE AS
NECESSARY TO TIE NEW ROOF STRUCTURE TO EXISTING. SEE ROOF PLAN.
