05-191-014I� GENERAL NOTES:
1. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL OBTAIN ALL NECESSARY CITY, COUNTY AND
STATE LICENSES PRIOR TO COMMENCING CONSTRUCTION. IF SPECIAL
PERMITS ARE REQUIRED FOR ANY OF THE WORK, THEY SHALL BE
OBTAINED AND EXHIBITED. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL GIVE ALL NOTICES
AND COMPLY WITH THE LAWS, ORDINANCES, CODES, AND REGULATIONS
BEARING ON THE CONDUCT OF THE WORK AS DRAWN AND SPECIFIED.
2. ALL ELECTRICAL WORK TO BE PERFORMED BY A STATE LICENSED
ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR. ALL ELECTRICAL WORK TO BE REMOVED,
INCLUDING ALL WIRES AND FEEDS, SHALL BE DISCONNECTED FROM
CORRESPONDING ELECTRICAL PANEL OR JUNCTION BOX.
3. ALL DEBRIS SHALL BE REMOVED FROM THE PREMISES BY
CONTRACTOR AND ALL AREAS SHALL BE LEFT IN A BROOM CLEAN
CONDITION AT ALL TIMES. ANY DAMAGE TO EXISTING BUILDING EXTERIOR
IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO RESTORE TO ORIGINAL
CONDITION.
4. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL TAKE ALL NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS TO
ENSURE THE SAFETY OF THE OCCUPANTS AND WORKERS AT ALL TIMES,
AND BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SECURITY OF THE SITE WHILE THE JOB
IS IN PROGRESS AND UNTIL ITS COMPLETION. CONTRACTOR AND
SUBCONTRACTORS SHALL CARRY WORKMAN'S COMP. INSURANCE AS WELL
AS GENERAL LIABILITY INSURANCE AND SHALL MAINTAIN SUCH INSURANCE
THROUGH COMPLETION OF JOB. SUBMIT PROOF OF INSURANCE TO
OWNER.
5. GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL EXERCISE CARE DURING DEMOLITION
AND REMOVAL TO ASSURE THAT ITEMS SCHEDULED FOR DEMOLITION ARE
PROPERLY REMOVED AND ITEMS TO REMAIN ARE PROTECTED FROM
DAMAGE.
6. ALL FINISHES AND SURFACES WHICH ARE DAMAGED DURING
DEMOLITION SHALL BE REPAIRED AND OR REPLACED TO THE
SATISFACTION OF THE PROJECT ARCHITECT AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO
THE OWNER.
7. GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY NECESSARY
DEMOLITION WORK.
8. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH ALL MATERIAL, EQUIPMENT, LABOR
AND OTHER FACILITIES NECESSARY FOR THE EXECUTION OF THE WORK.
GENERAL CONTRACTOR IS TO REVIEW THE EXISTING SPACE AND
FAMILIARIZE THEMSELVES WITH ALL EXISTING CONDITIONS AND FINISHES.
9. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS. THE CONTRACTOR
SHALL NOTIFY THE ARCHITECT OF ANY ERRORS, INCONSISTENCIES OR
OMISSIONS HE MAY DISCOVER ON THESE DRAWINGS. THE CONTRACTOR
IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CORRECTING ANY ERROR AFTER THE START OF THE
CONSTRUCTION WHICH HAS NOT BEEN BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF
THE ARCHITECT. THE MEANS OF CORRECTING ANY ERROR SHALL BE
APPROVED BY THE ARCHITECT.
10. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY ALL EXISTING SITE CONDITIONS
PERTINENT TO HIS CONTRACT PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION.
11. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROTECT ALL EXISTING CONCRETE CURBS
AND ASPHALT FROM DAMAGE FROM CONSTRUCTION AND HEAVY
EQUIPTMENT.
12. ALL LANDSCAPED AREAS AFFECTED BY CONSTRUCTION IS TO BE
RESTORED WHEN WORK IS COMPLETED.

1. VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS ON DRAWINGS AND CONDITIONS AT JOB SITE

DIMENSIONS OF ALL PROJECT REQUIREMENTS. REPORT ANY
DISCREPANCIES TO THE ARCHITECT PRIOR TO PROCEEDING WITH WORK IN
AREA OF CONFLICT. PROPOSE AND COORDINATE SOLUTION FOR AREA OF
CONFLICT.
3. EVEN THOUGH THE DRAWINGS ARE TO SCALE, DO NOT SCALE ANY OF
THEM, FOLLOW THE DIMENSIONS, ELEVATIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS SHOWN
ON THE PLANS.
4. OBTAIN FULL INFORMATION REGARDING PECULIARITIES AND
LIMITATIONS OF SPACE AVAILABLE FOR INSTALLATION OF THE
EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS UNDER CONTRACT AND PROVIDE READY
ACCESSIBILITY TO DAMPERS, VALVES AND OTHER APPARATUS,
INCLUDING ANY PART OF SYSTEM REQUIRED TO BE REACHED FOR
MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS.
