Duringitsregularmeeting of March 18,2003,theCity Commission acceptedthegrantawardthroughthe adoptionofResolutionNo.47-03-11596.Said resolution indicatedthegrantrequiresadollarfordollar match which would consist of a $200,000 Safe Neighborhood Parks grant forthe project.However,the resolution mustbe amended to indicate the dollar for dollar match requirement willbe satisfied by providing $80,000 of in-kind services and $20,000 in cash.Thecash contribution willbe provided bythe ParksandRecreationDepartmentoverthespan of thegrantperiod.Accordingly,$10,000 havebeenset asidefromthelandscapingbudgetitemforthecurrentfiscalyear,andtheremaining$10,000willbe budgetedinfiscalyear2003-04.
