No. 056-04-11835RESOLUTION NO.56-04-11835 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI,FLORIDA,RELATING TO BOARDS AND COMMITTEES;APPOINTING SARAH N.ARTECONA TO SERVE ON THE COMMISSION FOR WOMEN FOR A TWO YEAR TERM ENDING APRIL 5,2 006;AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS,the Mayor and Commission recognize the important contributions made by those who serve on the various city boards and committees,and wish to appoint afull complement to each ofthe active boards and committees;and WHEREAS,the City Commission desires to appoint Sarah N.Artecona to serve for a two year term on the Commission for Women.Appointment shall expire April 5,2006 or until a successor is duly appointed and qualified. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI,FLORIDA,THAT: Section 1.The City Commission hereby appoints Sarah N.Artecona to the Commission for Women. Section 2.TheexpirationdateofthisappointmentshallbeApril 5,2006or until a successor is duly appointed and qualified. Section 3.This resolution shall take effect immediately upon approval.
