Res. No. 197-06-12338RESOLUTION NO. 197-06-12338 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, RELATING TO BOARDS AND COMMITTEES; APPOINTING NANCY W. YOUNG TO SERVE ON THE PLANNING BOARD FOR A TERM OF TWO YEARS, ENDING NOVEMBER 6, 2008; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Mayor and Commission recognize the important contributions made by those who serve on the various city boards and committees, and wish to appoint a full complement to each of the active boards and committees; and WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to appoint Nancy W. Young to serve for a term of two years on the Planning Board. The appointment shall expire November 6, 2008 or until a successor is duly appointed and qualified. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, THAT: Section 1. The City Commission hereby appoints Nancy W. Young to the Planning Board. Section 2. The expiration date of this appointment shall be November 6, 2008 or until a successor is duly appointed and qualified. Section 3.
