A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, RELATING TO BOARDS AND COMMITTEES;
APPOINTING TONI H. ALAN TO SERVE ON THE BUDGET AND FINANCE
COMMITTEE FOR A TERM ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2008; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Commission recognize the important
contributions made by those who serve on the various city boards and
committees, and wish to appoint a full complement to each of the
active boards and committees; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to appoint Toni H. Alam to
serve on the Budget and Finance Committee. Appointment shall expire
September 30, 2008 or until a successor is duly appointed and
qualified.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission hereby appoints Toni H. Alam to
the Budget and Finance Committee.
Section 2. The expiration date of this appointment shall be
September 30, 2008, or until a successor is duly appointed and
qualified.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
approval.
