parking requirement for the proposed building use is one space for each 300 sq. ft. The building contains 2970

area and will not be detrimental to the neighborhood.
Special conditions applicable:

a recommendation from the Planning Board. The overall purpose is to determine the compatibility of the proposed
use with the surrounding neighborhood. A special use must comply with the conditions set forth in Section 20—_
5.8(B) in that the use: a) will not adversely affect the health or safety of persons residing or working in the vicinity
of the proposed use; b) will not be detrimental to the public welfare or property or improvements in the
neighborhood; c) and complies with all other applicable Code provisions.
Planning Board Action:
The Planning Board at its December 9, 2008 meeting adopted a motion by a vote of 6 ayes 0 nays recommending
approval of the special use request with three conditions set forth below.
Recommendation

I want to speak to those
celebrating the New Yc ar,
who insists on shooting off
guns to remember that the
bullets you shoot into the air
most come down. Please
think of the children, the
elderly or oneofyom own
family members. Their lives
arealtatriskwithyour
behavior.I ask anyone who

immediately.
In closing, I want to
congratulate all the residents
who stepped up to the plate
with information regarding
the shooting death of Derrick
