2 A Resolution appointing Kate Reilley to serve on the Audit Committee for a twelve
3 month term or until a recommendation is made to the Commission and the
4 Commission enters into a contract with one of the recommended auditors, whichever
5 date is sooner.

7 WHEREAS, Section 218.391, Fla. Stat., requires the establishment of an audit committee to
8 select an individual or firm to conduct the annual audit ofthe City's books and records; and
9
10 WHEREAS, the City Commission created an Audit Committee by Resolution No. 83-13-
11 13901 dated April 16, 2013, providing that the Committee shall consist of three (3) members,
12 appointed by the City Commission, and shall present its initial recommendation of no fewer than
13 three (3) auditors, if possible, no later than the second City Commission meeting in June 2013; and

15 WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to appoint Kate Reilley to serve on the Audit
16 Committee.

18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY
19 COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
20 Sectionl. The City Commission hereby appoints Kate Reilley to serve on the Audit
21 Committee for a twelve month term, or until a recommendation is made to the Commission and the
22 Commission enters into a contract with one of the recommended auditors, whichever date is sooner.

24 Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption by vote of
25 the City Commission.
