NOTICE OF ATTORNEY/CLIENT SESSION
Please take notice that there will be a Non-Public attorney-client session to be held
pursuant to Section 286.011(8), Fla. Stat., to discuss the case of City of South Miami v. Luis R.
Figueredo, Adorno & Yoss, LLP, a Florida limited liability partnership, and Bryant Miller Olive,
P.A., a Florida professional association, Case No. 10-46712 CA 10.
The attorney-client session will be held on January 8, 2013 and will begin at 7:35 p.m.
The names of the persons attending the attorney-client session are Mayor Philip Stoddard, Vice
Mayor Josh Liebman, Commissioner Valerie Newman, Commissioner Walter Harris,
Commissioner Bob Welsh, City Attorney Thomas F. Pepe, City Manager Steve Alexander and
Orange Reporting (court reporter).
The subject matter of the meeting shall be confined to settlement negotiations or strategy
sessions related to litigation expenditures. The entire session shall be recorded by a certified
court reporter who will record the times of commencement and termination of the session, all
discussion and proceedings, the names of all persons present at any time, and the names of all
persons speaking. No portion of the session shall be off the record. The court reporter's notes
shall be fully transcribed and filed with the City Clerk within a reasonable time after the meeting,
but the transcript shall not be open to public inspection until after the conclusion of the litigation.
The session will commence at an open meeting at which the Mayor or Vice Mayor will
announce the commencement and estimated length of the attorney-client session and the names
of the persons attending. At the conclusion of the attorney-client session, the meeting will be
reopened, and the Mayor or Vice Mayor will announce the termination of the session.
