WHEREAS, The Mayor and Commission recognize the important contributions made by those who serve on the various city boards and committees, and wish to appoint a full complement to each of the active boards and committees; and WHEREAS, Denise Covington's term will expire on May 3,2012; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Commission desires to appoint a member to the South Miami Community Redevelopment Agency (SMCRA) to serve for a two-year term commencing on May 3, 2012. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, THAT: Section 1. Nominations have been received from Commissioner Harris nominating Denise Covington, from Vice Mayor Liebman nominating Dr. Anna Price and from nominating ---------------------------------------------------- Section 2.
