A Resolution, authorizing the City Manager to accept $1,000 donation from Larkin Community Hospital to sponsor the 2012 King Pin Challenge IV, a charitable fundraiser event provided by South Miami Drug-Free Coalition. 3/5 (City Manager-Special Events) 2. A Resolution authorizing the City Manager to permit Team FootWorks Educational and Fitness Corporation, a non-for-profit organization to hold its 24th Annual Twilight 5K Walk/Run event on Sunday, June 3rd, 2012, in South Miami’s downtown area and surrounding streets. 3/5 (City Manager-Special Events) 3. A Resolution authorizing the City Manager to accept a transfer of $ 500.00 from account number 001-1640-524-3450, Contractual Services, to account number, 001-1640-524-5210, Supplies, to cover purchases. 3/5 (City Manager-Special Events) 4. A Resolution of the City of South Miami, Florida, opposing the proposed base rate increase by Florida Power and Light; authorizing the Mayor to file this resolution with the Florida Public Service Commission; providing for distribution by the City Clerk. 3/5 (Mayor Stoddard) 5. An Ordinance establishing a moratorium on multifamily development in excess of three units within the City of South Miami, pending the completion of appropriate studies of concerning absorption and vacancy rates as well as transportation, recreation and open space concurrency, accessibility for emergency and public service vehicular traffic, the adequacy of drainage facilities, and the impact on the availability of water and wastewater facilities; providing for exemptions, procedures, judicial review and a specific time limit, as well as other ancillary maters. A Resolution relating to a request pursuant to Section 20-3.4(B)(4)(b) of the Land Development Code for Special Use Approval to locate a general restaurant at 6208 S. An Ordinance amending South Miami Code of Ordinances, Article I, Chapter 2, Sec. 2- 2.1(K)(1) prohibiting the sending and receiving of electronic communication by a Commission member while the member is sitting on the dais during a Commission meeting. 3/5 (Commissioner Welsh) S.
