This letter is written on hehalf of our clients, the Dade County Police Benevolent Association
(PBA), the South Miami Police Bargaining Units, to advise you that an election process was held
to fill two (2) vacancies on the South Miami Police 185 Pension Plan Board. As a result two
officers submitted their names by the November 28, 2011 deadline and were elected without
opposition: Jose Lopez and Richard Munoz. The officers will now begin serving their terms
on the Board as duly elected members of the Board. Please take whatever procedural steps are
necessary to confirm their election to the Board.
Sincerely,
James C. i Digjtal!y~jgnedbyJilmesCCasey
