RESOLUTION NO.
A Resolution of the Mayor and City Commission of the City of
South Miami, Florida, relating to boards and committees;
appointing Sharon McCain to serve on the Environmental Review
and Preservation Board for a two -year term ending June 6, 2013;
and providing an effective date.
WHEREAS, The Mayor and Commission recognize the important contributions
made by those who serve on the various city boards and committees, and wish to appoint a
full complement to each of the active boards and committees; and
WHEREAS, The City Commission desires to appoint Sharon McCain to serve for
a two -year term on the Environmental Review and Preservation Board. Appointment shall
expire June 6, 2013 or until a successor is duly appointed and qualified.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission hereby appoints Sharon McCain to the
Environmental Review and Preservation Board.
Section 2. The expiration date of this appointment shall be June 6, 2013 or
until a successor is duly appointed and qualified.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
