Joint Workshop Memo_8-23-13ÐÏࡱave been submitted to you for a formal review as an ERPB member or as a Planning Board member. Your review should be limited to the scope of your review as a member of your board.
Therefore, as an example, an ERPB member should limit his or her review to the requirements set forth in the city's land development code for an ERPB review as set forth below:
20-5.11
Site plan review approvals
(B) Standards and Guidelines. The environmental review and preservation board shall review the following aspects of all site plans:
(1) Scale, color, texture
and appropriateness of all proposed buildings and other structures;
(2) Quantity, quality and arrangement of all proposed landscaping and open space features;
(3) Overall compatibility
of the proposed development with the existing and desired character of the property and neighborhood in which located; and
(4) The installation of sidewalks along all arterial roadways
and compliance with the city's sidewalk policies and requirements.
Attached for your review are the following documents: site plan, architectural and elevation drawings, building
rendering, survey and tree removal schedule, landscape plans, and photographs of the surrounding area.
Once again I want to remind you that the joint workshop is not a formal meeting
of your boards and no resolution, or written recommendations will be made and no vote will be taken. The City Commission will have an opportunity to attend this special workshop as members
of the public to educate themselves on the aspects of the project that would be governed by your board.
Thank you for your participation.
