EMERGENCY TO EXIST.
T_ tM EREAS, in the adoption of the referenced ordinance, -a
transposition of figures has resulted in an erroneous rate,

N 01 -1, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR ANb CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA:
' Section 1. That the third paragraph of Section 3(b)"of
Ordinance No. 577, passed and adopted under date of 'October 17,
1967, and being an ordinance entitled:

be and the same hereby is 'corrected and amended -to''read as follows,
to -wit:
"0.32 pe'r hundred cubic feet for the next 2,500
cubic feet; ".
Section 2. That any person, persons, firm, partnership or
corporation violating any of the provisions Hereof or the provisions
of the ordinance hereby amended, shall, upon 'conviction., be punished
by a fine not to e;cceed $500.00, or by imprisonment not to exceed
six months,: or by both such fine and imprisonment in the 'discretion
of the Municipal Judge. Each day a violation is permitted to exist
shall constit%te a separate offense.
Section 3. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be
an emergency measure upon the ground of urgent public need for the
preservation of the peace, health, welfare and property of the
people of the City of South Miam_, and shall become effective upon
publication'at least one time by caption in a newspaper of general
circulation in the City, or upon its being posted in full in a
conspicuous place in South 'Miami, Florida.
