WHEREAS, the City of South Miami Parks and Recreation Department desires to continue providing site improvements to Murray Park; and WHEREAS, this expense is included in the FY 2009/2010 Parks & Recreation Budget; and WHEREAS, Mega Awning was found to have the best proposal for the desired scope of work and can do so at a cost of $6,400. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA THAT: Section 1. That the City Manager is authorized to purchase two bleacher awnings for the Murray Park fields in an amount not to exceed $6,400.00 to be charged to the Recreation Operating Expense account number 001 - 2020 -519 -6430 with a balance of $13,769.00.
