No. 44-08-1979 (ord only)ORDINANCE NO. 44-08-1979 AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND T1IE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA RELATING TO THE PERMIT FEE /FEE SCHEDULE ; AMENDING ORDINANCE 32 -01- 1763 AND 15 -04 -1822 AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCES TO, INCREASING SOME PERMIT FEE, ADDING NEW FEES AND DELETING SOME FEES FROM THE SCHEDULE, PROVIDING FOR SEVERALBILITY, ORDINIANCES IN CONFLICT, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE; WHEREAS, the City has reviewed permit fees schedules for Miami -Dade County and several municipalities. WHEREAS, the City has found that fees for the County and other municipalities are higher than those fees included in the South Miami Permit Fee / Fee Schedule. WHEREAS, the cost of plan review, inspections and permit processing has increased considerably in the past few years. WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Commission desire to adopt a new Permit Fee /Fee Schedule allowing funding which will cover the cost of services provided. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1.
