Res No 041-12-13598RESOLUTION NO.41-12-13598 A Resolution relating to the review and approval of a Unity of Title request by Larkin Hospital,pursuant to Section 20-5.16 of the Land Development Code,to permit the licensure and operation of a nurses training facility located at 6140 SW 70 Street,that is incidental and subordinate to the main hospital operations. WHEREAS,Larkin Community Hospital,Inc.submitted a request for unity of titleon December 20,2011,anda revised requeston February 14,2012 in consideration of a permit for a nursing school with ancillary office training space tobe located at 6140 SW 70 Street;and WHEREAS,the definition of a hospital in Section 20-2.3 of theLand Development Code includes provision for training facilities,provided thatsuch facility must be incidental and subordinate tothe main useand must beanintegralpart of the hospital operations;and WHEREAS,the Planning &Zoning Department reviewed the unity of title request and findsitin compliance with the requirements of Section 20-5.16 of theland development code; and WHEREAS,the unity of titlemustbeapprovedbytheCity Commission and approved bytheCityAttorneyastoformandcontent,andshallthenberecordedinthepublicrecords of Miami-Dade County prior tothe issuance of any building permits.
