A Resolution authorizing the City Manager to accept a donation of
$150 from First National Bank of South Miami, increasing the
expenditure line item 001.1620.524.5210, Planning & Zoning Supplies.
WHEREAS, First National Bank of South Miami gave a donation of $150.00 to the
City's Historic Preservation Board; and
WHEREAS, it is requested that the expenditure line item 001.1620.524.5210, Planning
& Zoning Supplies be increased by $150.00; and
WHEREAS, the $150.00 donation will be used for the purchase of refreshments for the
City's Historic Preservation Board "historic brochure" presentation event.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA THAT:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept a donation from First National Bank
of South Miami for $150.00 increasing the expenditure line item 001.1620.524.5210,
Planning & Zoning Supplies, with a current balance of $ 24,288.09.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.

The City's Historic Preservation Board held an event on January 28, 2013
to launch the Historic Walking Tour of South Miami brochure, developed
by Board at the end of last year. The event included refreshments
Background: purchased through a donation from First National Bank of South Miami, in
the amount of $150.00. The donation will be added to the department's
supplies account to cover the expenditure.
