REVOKING CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND
NECESSITY PREVIOUSLY AUTHORIZED TO BE ISSUfiD
TO H E. NASON; REPEALING ORDINANCE-NO. 376_
PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED 'JL it & 4957, SAID 'ORDINANCE
RELATING TO* TIC AFOREMENTIONED CERTIFICATE OF
PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY AND BEING MORE
FULLY DESCRIBED"HEREIN
WHEREAS, on the 4th day of June 1957, Ordinance No. 376
the caption of which appears hereinafter, was adopted, and
WHEREAS, Ordinance 376 authorized the issuance of a
c ?rtificate of public convenience and necessity' to H. E. Nason
for the purpose of operating a taxi.-service in the City, and
WHEREAS, on the 7th day of January, 1964, a hearing was
held before the Mayor and City Council for tLe purposes of
determining whether or not the said certificate should be
cancelled and revoked, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council have determined
that H. E. NASON has failed or neglected to provide taxi service
in the City for a continuous period in excess of one year;
NOW,'THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH'MIAMI, FLORIDA:
1. That the certificate of public convenience and
necessity authorized by Ordinance 376 previously adopted on
June 4, 1957, is hereby CANCELLED and REVOKED; said certifi-
cate authorizing H. E. NASON to operate a taxi service in the
City.
2. That Ordinance No. 376, previously adopted on
June 4, 1957 is hereby repealed and made of no force and effect.

The City of South Miami passed Ordinance #316, June 4,_
1957; approving your application to operate a taxi
service in the City of South Miami.
According to the City Attorney a public hearing should
be held with the applicant before revocation of
Ordinance #376.- -Therefore, we wish to advise the next
regular meeting of City Council will be January 7, 1964,
and this matter will be on the agenda for action by the
City Council.
